That was an awesome one day trip to Marottichal waterfalls, Which is situated in Trissur district of Kerala. It is best for those who want to go for a single day ride from Ernakulam(Kochi) and that keeps you away from hustle and bustle of city life. It is a deep forest waterfalls which is not so popular and that makes it so special as there is not much human interactions.
The place is a hidden heaven on the earth. Completely covered with dense forest, valleys, birds sounds. The trucking through the Dance forest with the monsoon rain is such a marvelous experience. It cannot be explained by words.
The rocks are too slippery so one should take immense care while going deep into the waterfalls. There are some small mountains that will take some extra calories. Don't worry every single calorie you spend is worth for the final natural wonder.
